Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones DevPlainly uses and how you can control them. It complements our privacy policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage work in a comparable way. They can be first-party (set by this site) or third-party (set by another service), and session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept for a set period).

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

DevPlainly does not set any first-party cookies. The site is served as static pages and needs no cookies to work.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. It does not use cookies, does not store data in your browser and does not track you across websites, so it does not require consent.

Advertising

The site does not show ads yet, so no advertising cookies are used. When we start showing ads through Google AdSense, this section will list the cookies Google uses, and visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set.

How to control cookies

  • Use the consent message on this site, when shown, to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  • Opt out of personalized Google ads in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Each browser explains how in its help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the cookies we use change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Email contact@devplainly.com.
